Swedish massage has been around since the 1800's and is the most commonly used form of massage today.
Massage is a great way to relax and relieve tensions, improve circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to eliminate toxins from the body.
It can also reduce stress hormones and promote the increase of joint mobility.
You may also benefit from improved skin tone.

Lymphatic massage is different to Swedish and Aromatherapy massage.
To aide the lymphatic system, you only need very gentle movements to have a real benefit.
This amazing system helps to relieve the body of cellular waste.
There are lymph nodes located around the body, mainly to the front. These can sometimes become blocked or sluggish due to a build up of toxins within them.
Stimulating the nodes and gently awakening the Lymph system by massaging in the direction of natural drainage is very beneficial.

Indian head massage (or "Champi" in Hindi) originated over a thousand years ago in India. It stemmed from a tradition of family grooming. Narendra Metha brought it to the UK in the 1970's and made it into the therapy we know today. Narendra Metha was a trained physiotherapist, with knowledge of shiatsu and acupressure. The practice of Indian Head Massage is a traditional treatment to relax tense areas, rebalance energies, clear concentrated negativity and relieve eye strain, headaches, stress in the head, neck and shoulders. It works on areas affected by emotional and mental stress and can bring immediate relief. Circulation to the head is improved, thus promoting healthy hair growth, clear thinking, enhanced memory and senses. The treatment brings a sense of calm and tranquility and helps to relieve anxiety. Concentration is also a benefit along with the the release of fibrous adhesions (knots)
The treatment is usually carried out whilst you are fully clothed and comfortably seated.

Originating from Japan, Reiki is a form of healing using universal energy.
Reiki translated means universal life energy.
It was discovered by Usui Mikao on Mount Kurama in the early 20th century.
Since then, time and dedication has gone into the study and practice of this form of healing we know today.
Reiki can be given over clothing with hands on or hands just above the body.
This form of healing helps to rebalance energies within the body, expel negativity, ease pain, relieve stress and aid in the body's natural regeneration process.

Bi-Aura Therapy is an advanced form of bio energy healing.
Working with your Chakras and life force energy it is a natural therapy that is safe and gentle for all.
Remaining clothed throughout the session, with minimal touch, this wonderful treatment facilitates the body's own natural healing process for emotional and physical wellbeing.
All
we ask is that you are able to commit to at least 1 treatment a week for 3 weeks, followed by a fourth treatment several weeks later. The length of time could increase depending on your initial consultation.
